Everything designated "New" was just added to the boat June of 2008. This included having a complete engine service just 30 hours ago. The boat has been Captain maintained from day one. She is easy for a family to maneuver and go out for a day outing and large enough to embark on an exotic extended cruiseThe yacht has the complete color Furuno electronics package for upper and lower helms and a teak cockpit. Other innovative features include a flip up window that opens up the cockpit into the salon. A lower helm station allows you to cruise comfortably with guests. Three staterooms and two heads a large salon allow you to comfortably stay aboard for an extended stay.In addition, a complete engine service was completed approximately 30 hours ago.Probably the most arduous task in finding the perfect yacht is the unbelievable amount of time that it takes to research each and every yacht in your target category, then narrowing them down to the top 10, trusting the representations of others and completing the survey and finally the sea trial. With that said, we wish to explain how this yacht made it to the current owners dock, why this is relevant to you and how we can save you the time and expense.When the current owner sold his 115? Christensen he wanted to find the perfect yacht that he could take out on a moments notice with or without his captain and didn't require a full crew. The yachts that made the potential list were Azumut's Hatteras, Vikings and obviously Ferretti's. It took the current yacht owner nearly 6 months to complete the due diligence process, which included looking at yachts from Naples Fl to Fort Lauderdale Fl to Newport Beach CA and back to Victoria, Canada to find the perfect yacht. The perfect yacht was found in May of 2008; this Ferretti 500.I am very familiar with this yacht as I worked with the current buyers representative when I sold this yacht to him.Part of the current owners requirements were that the yacht had to have very low time, it could never have been used for chartering, it could not be a party boat, the galley was not used, it received regular washing and waxing, there were covers that protected the interior from the elements, it had to have been moored in an area with no potential for damage, there could not be any history of damage, history of repairs (out of the ordinary), it could not have been abused in any way. In addition, it had to have the most up to date electronics, gadgets and toys.Out of over 100 yachts, this Ferretti fit the stringent mission statement and it is certainly the most perfect, beautiful and well cared for Ferretti in existence. The only thing this Ferretti required to bring it to new were updates and to add toys.Even though the yacht was as close to perfect as could be found, it was still 4 years old. For this reason, the owner, prior to delivery in June 2008, gave a blank checkbook to make this Ferretti the best and most desirable Ferretti in its class and look, feel and operate as the day it came out of Ferretti.The reason for the sale is the fact that when the owner bought this yacht he was suffering from withdrawals from selling the Christensen and he now realizes he needs more like an 80 foot for his family, kids and grand kids.With all of the recent upgrades and the fact that she is the only 500 Ferretti with an Anti Rolling Gyro you must come see this truly magnificent and Bristol yacht.
