Spars, Rigging & Sails
VOLARE is rigged for short handed sailing with a self tacking jib and in boom furling mainsail. The main halyard is controlled by a captive hydraulic reel winch so raising and lowering the powerful mainsail is done with the push of a button. The main sheet is lead aft to a hydraulic winch in the helmsmen's cockpit.
